Neighborhood Grocery Store

The days of finding a neighborhood grocery store, with easy access to seasonal produce from local farms had nearly become extinct in western Kentucky. That is until Midtown Market founder Andy Carloss decided to bring the qualities of life that he enjoyed while living in Boston back to his hometown of Paducah, Ky. 

In 2012, Midtown Market was launched. This neighborhood grocery store now brings something to Paducah that the national chain stores struggled to deliver--personalized service and locally sourced products. 

For the last several years, Midtown Market has served as Paducah’s premier neighborhood grocery store. It’s the place where shoppers can find alternatives to the over processed foods they find in the traditional grocery chains located throughout the region. It’s also the store that carries a variety of delicious, gluten free items that you aren’t likely to find anywhere else in the region.  Our customers enjoy our products and services and keep coming back for more. Our Signature Services

Today, Midtown Market carries a varied selection of high quality foods, including natural and organic products, and a wide array of gluten free foods. In addition to being a full service neighborhood grocery store, we provide personalized services, such as customized gift baskets and a drive-thru window that can be used when you’re craving a cup of coffee or need to call in a small grocery order to go. We also provide other conveniences, such as fresh, ready-to-serve weeknight dinners and prepared entrees that can be reheated, all made in our kitchen for individuals and families to enjoy. 

Delicatessen

In addition to selling high quality grocery items, the deli at Midtown Market was the first in Paducah to carry a wide variety of delicious Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. Our deli staff serves fresh, made to order sandwiches daily. For those who want to serve lunch for a group or an office staff we also offer sandwich trays and vegetable trays that can be picked up or delivered. 

Local Producers

Throughout the year Midtown Market partners with area farmers to provide local produce, in season, to our customers when possible. We sell responsibly raised beef, chicken, pork and other meats raised locally. In order to do this we partner with local and regional producers who treat their livestock humanely and provide some of the best tasting meat around. In fact, our chicken is about as fresh as you will find. It’s never been frozen and it’s antibiotic free. 

You’ll even find our shelves lined with fresh bread that has been baked in the ovens of some of Paducah’s finest local bakeries. Our customers will agree that fresh, local flavor is simply better. 

Custom Meats & Fresh Seafood

As we have grown and learned more about what our customers want to see in their neighborhood grocery store, we’ve added other services that are unique to an independently owned neighborhood market. Patrons enjoy custom steaks and meats prepared by our butcher. They also love the taste of fresh seafood available to members of our Seafood Club. Club members are the first to know about fresh Chilean sea bass, live lobsters, King crab legs and a variety of wild-caught fish. All of this and more is available at our neighborhood grocery store throughout the year.
